Unofficially known to some as "the slowest 5K you'll ever run," the 8th Annual Keep Austin Weird 5K is an experience you'll never forget. As you waddle, wade, paddle, or slither your way down a course through the heart of downtown Austin, you'll enjoy various fun stops along the way. Don’t forget to wear your weird costume!

Each registered runner will receive free entry into the Keep Austin Weird Fest. Grab a friend (or 3), register today and start planning your costumes!

The race will start at the north end of the 1st street bridge, at the corner of Cesar Chavez and 1st street.

The 5K will start at 7 p.m.

The course will make a quick jaunt through the second street district, but will mainly use the dog pound loop

Packet pick up will be held Friday, June 25th from 10 am - 7 pm at RunTex Riverside and Saturday, June 26th beginning at noon near the North entrance of the festival (South 1st Street Bridge at Cesar Chavez)
